- Shut Off the Water: We start by shutting off the water supply so it doesn’t continue to run through your irrigation system.
- Turn Off the Controller: We’ll turn off your irrigation system's controller so it is deactivated for the winter.
- Blow Out Your System: We will blow out any leftover water in your irrigation system zone by zone so there is no risk of your pipes or other parts freezing and cracking.
We guarantee there won’t be any breaks or issues when we blow out your irrigation system, but in the unlikely event something happens, we’ll fix it!
We Offer Our Irrigation Winterization Service in the Fall
We want to make sure that your irrigation system is shut down in time for the winter so it doesn’t get damaged. For that reason, we start offering our irrigation winterization service in the fall. If your water supply is coming from the city, we can shut your system down starting October 1st. Otherwise, if your water supply is coming from a ditch, we can shut your system down starting October 15th. Our irrigation winterization service runs until mid-November, so there’s enough time to successfully shut your irrigation system down before the freezing temperatures arrive.
We can get your irrigation system back in working order in the spring with our startup service.
When the freezing temperatures fade away and the spring weather rolls around, you’ll want to bring your irrigation system back online so your lawn and landscape get all the hydration they need to thrive. That’s why we offer our irrigation system startup service! Starting in March, we will come to your property and safely get your irrigation system back up and running. We’ll turn the control panel back on, restore the flow of water, and inspect your system for any damage.
